Intern Architect Jenny Alvarez Profiled by C.T. Hsu + Associates, P.A.

 ORLANDO, FL--Jenny Alvarez (top right photo) is an extremely talented Intern Architect with C.T. Hsu + Associates, P.A. who has been with the firm for three years. Born in Colombia, she lived there until the age of 12.

After some thought and job changes, her mom decided to move to the United States and lives in Clearwater, Florida. Her mom knew education opportunities were more accessible in the United States.

After high school, Jenny attended St. Petersburg College and then transferred to the University of South Florida's School of Architecture and Community Design.

 

CTH+A FIRM NEWS

Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) has selected CTH+A to provide architectural and engineering services for the Dr. Phillips High School Comprehensive Needs Project to provide improved facilities and modernize the campus.   

 OCPS has selected CTH+A to provide architectural and engineering services for the Little River Elementary School Replacement Project.

 CTH+A PROJECTS IN PROGRESS

 CTHA is serving as architect for the Seminole State College Oviedo Campus Master Plan Update Project. CTHA responsibilities will include a three-phased approach to the master plan update with research and data collection, presentation of planning alternatives, and the development of future long-range plans for the 20-year plan on the Oviedo Campus.

Osceola High School Comprehensive Needs Project- Phase I of this three-year, multi-phased project is complete.

 Edgewater High School Comprehensive Needs Project - Phase I of this planning, design, replacement, remodeling and renovation project for one of the oldest high schools in Orlando is complete.

Junior Achievement of Central Florida presented C.T. Hsu, FAIA, LEED AP (middle left photo), with the Spirit of Achievement Award at the 2010 Mid-Florida Business Hall of Fame ceremony at the Rosen Centre Hotel on November 11.

·Kristine Kurek Melansonhas joined the firm as the Senior Marketing Manager.  Melanson has 15 years of experience in marketing and business development for architecture and related firms.  Most recently, she was the marketing director for a landscape architecture firm in Orlando.  She graduated with a B.S.B.A from the University of Central Florida College of Business Administration with degree in Marketing.

James Coffin has joined the firm as Marketing Coordinator. Coffin has five years of experience in marketing and business development for architecture and related firms. He graduated with an English B.A. degree from Hamilton Holt at Rollins College.

Nathan Butler, AIA, LEED AP -The Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Florida) presented C.T. Hsu + Associates Principal, Nathan Butler, AIA LEED AP, with the Presidential Award at the organization's 2010 annual convention at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort in Ponte Vedra recently.
